The Importance of a Blog Post

Eureka! I’ve figured out why I have put this stupid “every blog post has to be of a certain length and high importance” thought into my head: the frame. I made every blog post have a freakin’ picture frame around it, and apparently this has caused me to not be able to post quick little unimportant blog posts… which is what I would like to do. The frame makes each post stand out. It makes each post an island. Alone. Scared. Paranoid. Not a part of the greater blog eco-system.

I want my blog to be a stream. Yes… some items can be long and more serious… but I want there to be a place for all of the little “Holy crap! Today I watched a movie and played with my rats and watched Mad Men with Heather!” posts.

Well… the new theme should fix that. It’s radical. It’s free flowing. It’s wooden. Yeah… kinda going for a Grand Californian / Arts and Crafts / Craftsman theme with it. Can’t wait to finally get it up. Should be soon. Hopefully.
