Bill O’Reilly is a Clueless and Ignorant Sexist

Here’s what Bill O’Reilly says about single mothers: “I want to be fair about this because there are millions of single mothers who do a great job with raising their kids. It’s possible, but it’s not optional. And that’s where Miss Aniston makes her mistake. She’s throwing a message out to 12-year-olds and 13-year-olds that, ‘Hey you don’t need a guy. You don’t need a dad,.’ That is destructive to our society.”

He also said: “Dads bring a psychology to children that in this society is underemphasized. Men get hosed all the time.”

God… when are all of these old, white men just going to go away. Stupid dinosaurs. Go back to the fifties when sexism was completely acceptable and fully integrated into all aspects of society. I’m sure you loved it back then when white men were kings and everyone else had to bow down to you.

This is why all of these conservative bloggers and Fox News pundits pine for “the good old days” and think we need to “restore honor”. We haven’t lost our god damn honor. If we have, it was George Bush who did it. Under his watch, America tortured people and wire tapped its citizens without a warrant. Our own government lied to us to start a war that we did not need to start. Bush refused to actually act like a mature adult and talk to our enemies and show the world that we are not ignorant little children who say stupid things like “You’re either with us or against us in the fight against terror”. Yeah… that’s a real productive and gown up mentality. These guys probably watch Mad Men and wish America was still like that. I watch that show and am disgusted by that behavior (as any rational person would be), even if it is a great show.

Oh well… things always get better as the old generations die out and take their backwards thinking with them. Just gotta wait it out.
