So a while back I declared that I was already in the Christmas spirit. Heather was not too enthusiastic about this. BUT! She did say I could get in the Christmas spirit at the beginning of July. Well… we’re almost there. I might even change the color scheme of the blog. It’s already pretty darn green. Few hints of red and maybe some Christmas lights strewn about. Yes. It’s going to be awesome. I love Christmas. It makes me happy.
Speaking of being happy… I hope you are happy! If not… you should consider smiling! I’ve really adopted the smiling-makes-you-happier theory and it totally works! There’s really nothing scientific to it. I smile… I’m happy. Bam! Easy peasy!
Speaking of being easy… have you ever noticed how much easier it is to walk around Disneyland than it is to walk around Six Flags Magic Mountain? Why is this? Because Disneyland is flat! It’s not really something I had really thought about until a week ago. I was thinking about why I liked Six Flags so much even though I don’t like roller coasters and it has crappy theming. Well… it was the layout. The hills, the very overgrown greenery, the way the coasters are positioned in the forest in such creative ways… it’s beautiful! I really, honestly enjoyed just walking through the park more than I enjoyed going on the coasters themselves. Now, I do love Disneyland the way it is. It’s genius. Walt Disney is my God. But… can you imagine Disneyland with rides built into the sides of hills or walking up a big hill to an ominous looking Haunted Mansion? Yeah. I think it would be insanely overwhelming in all the right ways. Disneyland Paris kind of does this, but it’s very limited. One can only dream…

Adam, you and I are braintwins! My roommate (Donnie’s sister) Brianne and I are planning a Christmas evening when I get home, you and Heather are cordially invited! We want to drink our special Holiday tea in B’s fancy tea set and drink hot buttered rum and turn the A/C way down and cuddle up under blankies and watch Christmas movies and decorate the living room for the day.
CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!
